The newly restored Royal Victoria Chapel at Netley in Southampton provides a magnificent background for our evening of glorious choral music.
The varied programme includes Britten's Hymn to St Cecilia; Parry's Coronation anthem I Was Glad; Vaughan Williams's Five Mystical Songs; and Elgar's settings of Psalm 48 (Great Is the Lord) and Psalm 29 (Give unto the Lord).
We are delighted that Jamie W Hall joins us as baritone soloist. In addition to his frequent solo engagements, Jamie is a member of the BBC Singers and until recently was the director of Romsey Choral Society.
