Songs of Farewell
St Paul's Church, Winchester
8th November 2025, 7:30pm
In a year that has seen endless news of atrocities around the world we present a poignant and beautiful programme on the theme of HOPE on the eve of Remembrance Sunday, featuring Hubert Parry's Songs of Farewell, selected movements from Ian Venables' contemporary Requiem (2018) and some beautiful madrigals and anthems. Ian Venables' Requiem is one of the most significant recent pieces of English choral music and we are thrilled to present movements as part of this concert.
